Recreation

Movie multiplexes, dance clubs, performing theater, symphony, libraries, media sources, 13 local college campuses, several museums, nature perserves and a zoo are just a few attractions the Grand Rapids area has to offer. 

Our growing downtown area is home to a large arena that books touring concerts, sporting events and other acts.  There are rinks, fields and fitness areas as well as professional baseball hockey and football arenas, motorsport tracks and horse racing all within 30 minutes or less. 

West Michigan has many outside activities such as swimming, boating, walking and biking trails.  The great lakes as well as many inland lakes offer a wealth of activities on water. For the winter enthusiast, downhill and crosscountry skiing, tubing and snowmobile areas are all within a short drive.

Shopping/Food

Many malls and shopping centers with a wide variety of selections and tastes in clothes, furnishing and accessories.

A wide variety of food eateries and stores surround the area for American and ethnic food cravings.  Fast food, served meals, nationwide chains and small businesses all available for your tasting.

Housing

The Grand Rapids area is made up of single family homes, condominums and apartment complexes.  Many apartment complexes in our area allow pets and provide social activities.

Multiple hotels and motels with various ammenities surround the area for visiting family and friends.
