Payment and Estimate Policy

• Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, all major credit/debit cards, and CareCredit. No In-House Financing Available.
  
• Our team will provide a itemized estimate before any procedure or service is rendered
  • Upon completion of the exam to ensure accuracy and confirmation from owner. You may request one at any point during treatment.
  • Every pet is unique, and so are their healthcare needs. While we’re happy to discuss generalized pricing over the phone, accurate estimates require a physical exam and a conversation with our veterinary team. 
• If you have budget concerns, let us know - we're happy to discuss treatment options. Itemized estimate of services available upon request prior to services being performed.
  
• All sick pets hospitalized with us will be given a written estimate of charges.
  
  • 50% of payment may be expected before treatment begins, with the balance due when the pet is discharged.

When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.

The Animal Hospital of Kentwood understands situations come up and is only able to make special arrangements through the CareCredit program.

No In-House Financing options are available.

Use it to pay for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by insurance, and special financing* options are available that you may not be able to get with other cards. Pet Insurance: What You Need to Know

We're happy to support clients who choose to use pet insurance for their furry family members.

While the Animal Hospital of Kentwood does not bill insurance companies directly, many of our clients successfully use insurance to help cover the cost of care.

We recommend researching different pet insurance companies to find a plan that fits your needs and your pet's lifestyle. There are many options out there, popular ones within the area include Nationwide Insurance, Trupanion

Here's how it works:

• Payment is Due at the Time of Service
  • All services must be paid for in full at the time of your visit.
• You Start a Claim with Your Provider and Handle the Reimbursement
  • After your visit, you can submit your invoice and any necessary medical records to your pet insurance provider for reimbursement.
    If your provider requests additional documentation, we're happy to assist.
